I thought I would drop you a line to say thank you for all your help with our town's Columbaria project. Our cemetery is quite short on space, and the idea of adding Columbaria to the site was much welcomed by the public. I have had previous experience in another municipality installing these structures, and they sold out very quickly.

As the new Director of Public Works, it was interesting that my first large project ended up being a columbarium. One of our residents was a member of the Masonic Lodge and wanted to have a columbarium section in our Cemetery. He had done a lot of research and had lots of ideas.
Nelson Granite was the company he had been working with, so it was a natural choice to go with them. Karl Lang guided me through the process with great ease. With his guidance we went through the process of selecting the appropriate size unit, the location in the cemetery and the installation process. Sarah Madussi has been managing our plaques order with efficiency since our unit arrived. Trusting that Nelson’s was not about the sale happened immediately, they build quality units and have for generations, we were never pressured for the sale. They truly wanted what was best for your community. We have not even had our unit for a year and it is over half full, luckily Karl had worked on a long-term plan with us and we can easy add more units.

On behalf of our Cemetery and Town, I am pleased to convey that we began talks in 2016 with Nelson Granite in search for higher quality columbariums for our Cemetery. After careful research, the Town chose Nelson Granite and placed an order for six, 64-niche columbariums.

We have had nothing but good experiences dealing with Nelson Granite; Karl Lang in 2014 and Kevin Young in 2020. Our initial 3 columbaria were installed in 2014 and are over 3/4 sold out already! The units, being of solid granite construction, are easy for staff to open to perform interments but are also secure so our customers don't have to worry.
